FOURTH QUARTER TRANSITIONAL LIVING PROGRAM

Transitional housing (18 months) for consumers currently in treatment for substance abuse.
Criteria: A candidate for admission must be a single male or female, homeless, diagnosed substance abuser (may have a dual diagnosis).
Availability: 26 participant capacity, currently screening for new intakes.

Screening: Clients need:

(1) to be screened at Tri-county Center, 251-6530, or Coastal Horizons Center, 343-0145;
(2) participate in substance abuse treatment program for 30 days at Tri-county or Coastal Horizons; and
(3) remain clean / sober for 30 days with a minimum of two drug screens.

Description: 8 one-bedroom, 9 two-bedroom (roommates) furnished apartments 2 miles from SEC with on-site Resident Program Manager (Wendell Hansley). 24 small one-bedroom units with shared bathroom and large kitchen area. (On-site resident manager)
